Broadcast Notes And Prediction Recap From Tiger Pregame Show

By Scott Rhymer

First, as a reminder, I join Mickey Plyler every Friday morning at 6:40 a.m. on WCCP 104.9 FM to break down the upcoming Clemson game. This week, Mickey and I will recap the big win over Ball State and preview the return of Sammy Watkins versus Furman.

The Tiger Pregame Show, driven by D&D Ford, will return to Clemson on Saturday, broadcasting live from the lawn at Littlejohn from 9:00 a.m. until 12:00. Former Tiger Willy Korn and WCCP host Roy Philpott will join Scott Rhymer for our 119th consecutive broadcast live on location where the Tigers play.

We have interviews with Dabo Swinney, Chad Morris, Brent Venables, and several key players that will have an impact on the game. Will Vandervort will once again provide interviews for the Tiger Pregame Show, allowing fans to hear exactly what the players and coaches are thinking about the upcoming game.

We will all give our Clemson/Furman prediction in addition to our ACC and SEC locks of the week. Last week, Scott’s ACC Lock Of The Week was North Carolina over Wake Forest, which was incorrect. That drops Scott to 1-1 on the year in locks of the week.

Last week, Willy’s SEC Lock Of The Week was Georgia over Missouri, which was correct. That makes Willy 2-0 on the year in locks of the week.

Scott Rhymer picked Clemson over Ball State by a score of 52-21, which is a differential of 6 points. Willy Korn picked Clemson over Ball State by a score of 52-23, which is a differential of 4 points. Roy Philpott picked Clemson over Ball State by a score of 52-24, which is a differential of 3 points.

After 2 weeks, Roy and Willy are tied for the lead in least point differential, with Roy winning the tiebreaker because he has a weekly win.

Roy with 1 weekly win and a differential of 9 total points.
Willy with 0 weekly wins and a differential of 9 total points.
Scott with 1 weekly win and a differential of 10 total points.
