Today’s photo is of William Perry, who lettered at middle guard for Clemson from 1981-1984. Perry was born in Aiken, South Carolina. He has stated in an interview that "Even when I was little, I was big."

Perry attended Aiken High School, where he was a standout high school football player. Perry played for Coach Danny Ford's Clemson football team from 1981 to 1984, winning a National Championship in 1981.

Perry was the first three-time All-American at Clemson and he ranked first among Division I players in tackles for loss as a senior with 2.45 per game.

Perry was a first-round draft pick for the Chicago Bears in 1984 and helped lead the Bears to a Super Bowl in 1985.
