Last Meeting:  BC won, 59-57, in 2011-12
Streak:  Clemson has won two of three

Clemson and Boston College will meet for the 16th time Saturday, with the Tigers holding a 10-5 advantage all-time in the series.  The Eagles are 5-1, however, against Clemson in Chestnut Hill.
The Tigers have won two straight conference games to even their mark at 4-4 in the ACC.  K.J. McDaniels knocked down two clutch free throws in the final 20 seconds and the Tigers forced a miss on the other end to preserve a 63-60 win over Georgia Tech on Tuesday.
The Eagles have dropped five straight ACC games coming into Saturday’s tilt.  BC’s last win was at Virginia Tech on Jan. 9.
Clemson is in search of its first win at Boston College since the 2008-09 season.  That year, Trevor Booker posted 21 points and 13 rebounds to lead the Tigers to an 87-77 victory over the Eagles at Conte Forum.  Clemson made 11-of-25 from three-point range in that most recent win at Boston College.
Head Coach Brad Brownell earned his 50th win at Clemson with the Tigers’ three-point win over Georgia Tech last time out.  Brownell did it in 85 games.  He is the fastest coach to reach 50 wins at Clemson since Rick Barnes did it in 81 games.
The Tigers have three players – K.J. McDaniels (41), Devin Booker (23) and Milton Jennings (20) – with 20 or more blocked shots this season.  Clemson is the only team in the ACC with three players that have at least 20 blocks.
Devin Booker needs just five points Saturday to become the 36th and newest member of Clemson’s 1,000 career point club.  The Tigers have had at least one 1,000 point scorer on their roster each season since 2004-05.
Booker and his older brother, Trevor, could become just the second brother combination in Clemson history to both score 1,000 career points.  Randy and Richie Mahaffey previously did it in the 1960s.  The Bookers hope to become just the fifth set of brothers to both score 1,000 in the ACC.
K.J. McDaniels has scored 15 or more in three straight games, the longest streak of his career.  The sophomore has improved his scoring average by a +7.5 figure over last season, the fourth-biggest jump among ACC players this season.
Former All-ACC point guard Terrell McIntyre was named Clemson’s 2013 ACC Tournament Legend on Thursday.  McIntyre is No. 2 in school history with 1,839 career points.

One of the great things about football season is that it offers the opportunity to welcome people to Clemson (either for the first time or after a long time away).

At Clemson, we believe that we have something special and are excited to showcase that special college football environment each time we host a visitor.  Our goal  is very simple:  To be incredible hosts to our visitors and provide the ultimate game day experience.

There is an additional buzz in the air for Week 2 at Clemson, as we host the the Auburn Tigers and their fans for what should be an electric game day weekend with two Top 15 football teams in an ACC vs. SEC match-up in prime time!  We hope that your trip here will be exciting, memo…
