Steve Reese played offensive guard for Clemson in the early 1980’s.

Reese was a Second team, All-American by Football News as a junior. Reese also earned first-team All-ACC and was in on 776 plays for a season average of over 70 plays per game, the most by a Clemson player at that time.

Reese came on strong at the end of his senior season with 54 knock- down blocks in the last five games of the season and was a major reason Clemson was in the top 10 in the nation in rushing during the 1985 season.
