(Photos Uploaded By Alan Cutts)
Today’s photos are a series of shots during the construction of the North Upper Deck in 1983.

The North Upper Deck is comprised of 22,500 yards of concrete, 2,200 Tons of reinforcing steel, 3,000 tons of asphalt, 5,800 gallons of paint, and 60,000 pounds of aluminum seating

Chestnut Hill, the home of Boston College, is a quiet, affluent, and quant village located six miles west of downtown Boston, Massachusetts.

Like all Massachusetts villages, Chestnut Hill is not an incorporated municipal entity. Unlike most Massachusetts villages, Chestnut Hill encompasses parts of three municipalities: the town of Brookline in Norfolk County; the city of Boston in Suffolk County, and the city of Newton in Middlesex County.

This unique dynamic also plays into some of the politics of what you can, and cannot do, at a football game at Boston College….more on that in a bit.

Clemson had played in Chestnut Hill prior to …
