Broadcast Location In Raleigh For Tiger Pregame Show

The Tiger Pregame Show, a game day tradition for Clemson football fans on Saturdays since 2003, will broadcast its 163rd consecutive show at the Triangle Clemson Alumni Club Pregame Event...this Saturday from The Rally Point Sports Grill just 4 miles from Carter Finley Stadium!

Broadcast Time is 9:30-12:30 with the doors opening for the Pregame Event at 11:00 a.m.  David Hood, Senior Writer for Tigernet, will join Tiger Pregame Show founder Scott Rhymer on WCCP’s popular Tiger Pregame Show as it enters its 13th year on the air at WCCP 105.5 FM. 

The Tiger Pregame Show format will air from 9:30-12:30 this Saturday and we will offer in-depth analysis of the match up, focusing on X’s and O’s of what fans should expect to see on the field during the game. 

While we are on the road, we have joined up with the Triangle Clemson Alumni Club for their Pregame Event!  The Triangle Clemson Club cordially invites all visiting Tiger Fans to join us for the event, which will start at 11:00 am on Saturday, October 31, 2015. 

All proceeds of the pregame event will benefit our scholarship program for future Clemson University students! 

The Pregame Event will be held at The Rally Point Sports Grill in Cary, NC. Rally Point has a large outdoor covered patio area, so bring all your Clemson friends and family and wear your Solid Orange! 

The event will feature:

  • The Tiger Pregame Show with host Scott Rhymer broadcasting live from 9:30-12:30 on WCCP 105.5 The Roar, the Flagship Station of Clemson Athletics.
  • A chance to Meet and Greet fellow and visiting alumni from all over the country who are coming to Raleigh for the N.C. State game. 
  • All-You-Can-Eat Rally Point BBQ, multiple side dishes and all non-alcoholic beverages 
  • (2) beverage tickets for each paying adult customer for 16 oz. aluminum cans of popular beer brands and cider (additional beverage tickets can be purchased at $2.50 apiece)
  • Live entertainment provided by the Page 6 Band
  • Free shuttle bus service for all paying attendees to and from Carter Finley Stadium.

The cost of the event (food, beverages, live entertainment and transportation to and from Carter-Finley) is as follows:

  • Adults (21 and over) - $25 in advance; $30 at the door
  • Children (13-20) - $10
  • Children (12 and under) - Free Wrist bands will be issued to all paying attendees and will be required for admission to the event.
Only paying attendees will be offered free bus shuttle transportation to and from Carter Finley Stadium. Shuttle buses to the game will start running to Carter Finley Stadium, beginning at approximately 1:00. 

Wrist bands can be purchased at the advance price of $25.00 up until 5:00 pm EST on Friday, October 30, 2015. After that time, the price will increase to $30. 

Tickets can be purchased through the Triangle Clemson Club PayPal Account (, or by sending checks to Club Treasurer Adrienne Kerchner, 9308 Leslieshire Drive, Raleigh, NC 27615. If sending in a check, please provide the names of the attendees, a phone number and a current email address.

Construction Of The North Upper Deck In 1983

Today’s photos are a series of shots during the construction of the North Upper Deck in 1983.

The North Upper Deck is comprised of 22,500 yards of concrete, 2,200 Tons of reinforcing steel, 3,000 tons of asphalt, 5,800 gallons of paint, and 60,000 pounds of aluminum seating

The North Upper Deck height is 13.36 stories and the length is 560 feet. The total cost of the North Upper Deck was $13.5 million

To illustrate the quality of the investment of the upper deck.  The $13.5 million dollar investment is recovered in just 3 years (7 home games per year) in ticket sales.  Each game Clemson sells out the North Upper Deck, over $600,000 goes towards Clemson Athletics.

The North Upper Deck is slightly larger than the South Upper Deck. The reason for this is simple. Engineers had more room to build behind the North Upper Deck than they did behind the South Upper Deck (with Cemetery Hill behind the South). This al…
