Broadcast Notes and Guests For Saturday's Tiger Pregame Show

The Tiger Pregame Show, a game day tradition for Clemson football fans on Saturdays since 2003, will broadcast its 159th consecutive show this Saturday as Clemson Notre Dame from 2:00-5:00.

David Hood, Senior Writer for Tigernet,  and Reggie Merriweather, former Clemson Running Back, will join Tiger Pregame Show founder Scott Rhymer on WCCP’s popular Tiger Pregame Show as it enters its 13th year on the air at WCCP 105.5 FM.

Due to construction at Littlejohn Coliseum, The Tiger Pregame Show, along with the network's Tiger Tailgate Show, will broadcast from behind the Chapman Grandstands outside of Doug Kingsmore Stadium (near the 3rd base foul pole).

The buzz of this game with Notre Dame has captivated Tiger Nation, and we will kick it all off on the Tiger Pregame Show this Saturday.

“From an historical perspective, this is the biggest game in Death Valley history.  The attention and excitement leading up to this game is unparalleled.”, Rhymer points out.

“When driving to the game Saturday or walking around campus, our fans can stream the show via their smart phones, making the show as portable as the listener wants to be on game day."

“But that is not the only reason we embrace the technology.  In addition to streaming the show, we also want to engage fans during the show to allow them to give their opinions and insight into the show that we can use while broadcasting.  That’s the really exciting part of embracing the technology as it allows fans to do more than just listen.  It allows them to engage.”

The Tiger Pregame Show format will air from 2:00-5:00 this Saturday and we will continue to offer in-depth analysis of the upcoming game, focusing on X’s and O’s of what fans should expect to see on the field during the game.

Segments for the show include up-to-the-minute game day weather conditions, Top 25 Report, ACC and SEC Game Breakdowns, Injury Reports for both Clemson and their opponent, and a historical look back at this day in Clemson football history.

Clemson Head Coach Dabo Swinney, Defensive Coordinator Brent Venables, and Co-Offensive Coordinators Tony Elliott and Jeff Scott will offer their input on the show.

Eric Mac Clain,  Mitch Hyatt, Travis Blanks, and Wayne Gallman will also have their thoughts on the game, giving Tiger fans a clear vibe of what the players are thinking leading up to kickoff.

Don Munson, the  Voice of the Tigers, will join the show live each week to give his unique perspective inside the football program.

And, just like in the previous 12 years, the show will close the final hour with the Keys to the Game and game day predictions, this week with Tigernet's David Hood and former Clemson Running Back Reggie Merriweather.

One of the great things about football season is that it offers the opportunity to welcome people to Clemson (either for the first time or after a long time away).

At Clemson, we believe that we have something special and are excited to showcase that special college football environment each time we host a visitor.  Our goal  is very simple:  To be incredible hosts to our visitors and provide the ultimate game day experience.

There is an additional buzz in the air for Week 2 at Clemson, as we host the the Auburn Tigers and their fans for what should be an electric game day weekend with two Top 15 football teams in an ACC vs. SEC match-up in prime time!  We hope that your trip here will be exciting, memo…
