Rivalry Week! November 26th Clemson Historic Picture Of The Day

Rivalry Week!

"One Legged" Watson Helps Clemson Drill Gamecocks!

Artavis Scott had two long touchdown catches, Wayne Gallman ran for 191 yards and Clemson ended a five-game losing streak to South Carolina with a 35-17 victory.

The win, with Clemson freshman QB Deshawn Watson playing with a torn ACL knee ligament, ensured that South Carolina coach Steve Spurrier would end his career vs. Clemson with a loss.

Watson finished with 269 yards passing with 2 touchdowns and he added another touchdown on the ground in one of the gutsiest performances in Clemson football history.

The win also gave Clemson a 9th win on the season, which gave the Tigers the opportunity to win a 10th game with a bowl victory, extending to 4 the number of years in a row the Tigers had 10 or more wins.

Today’s photos are from a joyous afternoon in 2014 for Clemson Nation.
