Tiger Pregame Show To Broadcast With Arizona Clemson Club At SALT In Glendale!

The Tiger Pregame Show, a game day tradition for Clemson football fans since 2003, will broadcast its 184th consecutive show in Glendale, Arizona prior to the College Football Playoff Semifinal between Clemson and Ohio State!

Scott Rhymer and The Tiger Pregame Show will join with the Arizona Clemson Club to broadcast from the Rally In The Valley Pregame Event, hosted at SALT Restaurant and Bar in the Westgate Entertainment District "in the shadows" of University of Phoenix Stadium, where the game will take place.

Broadcast Time for the Tiger Pregame Show is 2:00-4:00 (Eastern Time) and 12:00-2:00 (Arizona Time) with the doors opening to SALT at 11:00 a.m. (Arizona Time).

Note that The Tiger Pregame Show will only broadcast a 2 hour Pregame Show due to Clemson Men's Basketball vs. Wake Forest, beginning at 12:00 noon Eastern.

The Arizona Clemson Club Event will officially begin at 11:00 (Arizona Time) and there is a $10 Cover Charge to enter.  Proceeds go to the Arizona Clemson Club Scholarship.

If you are in the upstate of South Carolina on game day, you can listen via WCCP 105.5 FM The Roar.  If you are in Arizona, or anywhere in the world, you can listen via or via the Tune In App (it is a free App!) by choosing 105.5 The Roar.

Kelly Gramlich has been with The Tiger Pregame Show this year in addition to her co-host role on Out Of Bounds daily on WCCP 105.5 FM.  Gramlich lettered in basketball at Clemson and has remained an integral  part of the Athletic Department, writing for the Orange and White.

Bring your $2 bills and let's paint Glendale orange at SALT!  Last year for the National Championship Game, SALT was a great location to mingle with Clemson fans, hear Tiger Rag every 30 minutes, and plenty of Cadence Count Cheers echoing through the venue!

Multiple televisions are located throughout SALT, so Tiger fans will be able to watch Clemson basketball vs. Wake Forest as well as the other National Semifinal game, Alabama vs. Washington.

Salt is located in the Westgate Entertainment District in Glendale, Arizona and is only a five minute walk to the Stadium.  There are multiple places to eat, shot for Playoff Gear, and join Tigers fans to get ready for the game all in the Westgate Entertainment District.  And the best news is, you can leave and easily walk into the stadium after the pregame party!

Information about Salt can be found at the below link:

The Tiger Pregame Show will air from 2:00-4:00 Eastern on Saturday and we will offer in-depth analysis of the match up, focusing on X’s and O’s of what fans should expect to see on the field during the game.

1:00-4:00  Live From "The Corner Of Swann Pavilion At Littlejohn Coliseum"
Note:  Additions have been added by Clemson fans at the bottom of this blog

One of the great things about football season is that it offers the opportunity to welcome people to Clemson (either for the first time or after a long time away).

At Clemson, we believe that we have something special and are excited to showcase that special college football environment each time we host a visitor.  Our goal  is very simple:  To be incredible hosts to our visitors and provide the ultimate game day experience.

There is an additional buzz in the air for Week 2 at Clemson, as we host the the Auburn Tigers and their fans for what should be an electric game day weekend with two Top 15 football teams in an ACC vs. SEC match-up in prime time!  We hope that your trip here will be exciting, memo…

May 3rd Clemson Historic Picture Of The Day

Construction Of The North Upper Deck In 1983

(Photos Uploaded By Alan Cutts)
Today’s photos are a series of shots during the construction of the North Upper Deck in 1983.

The North Upper Deck is comprised of 22,500 yards of concrete, 2,200 Tons of reinforcing steel, 3,000 tons of asphalt, 5,800 gallons of paint, and 60,000 pounds of aluminum seating

The North Upper Deck height is 13.36 stories and the length is 560 feet. The total cost of the North Upper Deck was $13.5 million

To illustrate the quality of the investment of the upper deck.  The $13.5 million dollar investment is recovered in just 3 years (7 home games per year) in ticket sales.  Each game Clemson sells out the North Upper Deck, over $600,000 goes towards Clemson Athletics.

The North Upper Deck is slightly larger than the South Upper Deck. The reason for this is simple. Engineers had more room to build behind the North Upper Deck than they did behind the South Upper Deck (with Cemetery Hill behind the South). This al…
