Clemson Events And Broadcast Information For Tiger Fans In Tampa!

Downtown Tampa is ready to be painted Clemson Orange!! 
The Clemson Alumni Association, IPTAY and the Florida Clemson Clubs proudly invite all of our Clemson Family to the National Championship Clemson Welcome Party this weekend!  

And The Tiger Pregame Show, with hosts Scott Rhymer and Kelly Gramlich, will be there to join in all of the fun and excitement leading up to the National Championship Rematch with Alabama.
On Sunday, the host party location will be Yeoman’s Cask & Lion located at 202 North Morgan Street, Tampa, FL  33602

As the host location fills to capacity, alternate downtown restaurants and bars will join in the fun so that our Tigers can meet up and mingle.
Each location will have fellow Clemson Tigers representing the Florida Clemson Clubs to greet all of our Clemson Family! 
These locations will be open to our guests starting at 7:00 p.m.

On Game Day, The Tiger Pregame Show will broadcast from 2:00-5:00 at The Westin Hotel-Tampa Bay,  located at 7267 West Courtney Campbell Causeway.


The Tiger Pregame Show, a game day tradition for Clemson football fans since 2003, will broadcast our185th consecutive show on Monday prior to the College Football National Championship Game Vs. Alabama.

Scott Rhymer and Kelly Gramlich will broadcast from 2:00-5:00.

If you are in the upstate of South Carolina on game day, you can listen via WCCP 105.5 FM The Roar.  If you are in Tampa, or anywhere in the world, you can listen via wccpfm.com or via the Tune In App (it is a free App!) by choosing 105.5 The Roar.

The Tiger Pregame Show will air from 2:00-5:00 Eastern on Monday and we will offer in-depth analysis of the match up, focusing on X’s and O’s of what fans should expect to see on the field during the game.

Construction Of The North Upper Deck In 1983

Today’s photos are a series of shots during the construction of the North Upper Deck in 1983.

The North Upper Deck is comprised of 22,500 yards of concrete, 2,200 Tons of reinforcing steel, 3,000 tons of asphalt, 5,800 gallons of paint, and 60,000 pounds of aluminum seating

The North Upper Deck height is 13.36 stories and the length is 560 feet. The total cost of the North Upper Deck was $13.5 million

To illustrate the quality of the investment of the upper deck.  The $13.5 million dollar investment is recovered in just 3 years (7 home games per year) in ticket sales.  Each game Clemson sells out the North Upper Deck, over $600,000 goes towards Clemson Athletics.

The North Upper Deck is slightly larger than the South Upper Deck. The reason for this is simple. Engineers had more room to build behind the North Upper Deck than they did behind the South Upper Deck (with Cemetery Hill behind the South). This al…
