Joe Don Reames

Joe Don Reames lettered at Clemson from 1999 to 2000 as a wide receiver, punt returner, and kick returner.
Reames played in all 11 games for the Tigers in 2000 leading Clemson in punt returns as a sophomore and ranking 24th in the nation in punt returns with a 12.2 average.

Reames had a 69-yard punt return for a touchdown that broke open the Virginia game and helped earn him ACC Specialist of the Week honors.  He also returned two kickoffs in the Gator Bowl for 32 yards.

Reames came to Clemson in 1998 as a quarterback, redshirting that first year.  Under Tommy Bowden, the coaches decided to move Reames to wide receiver.
